To Resolve or Not to Resolve

I struggle with whether or not to make New Years Resolutions every year.  Resolving to “lose weight” or “eat better” always seems hollow and cliche.  This year, I’m going for more concrete goals–ones that are good for body, mind and soul.  They are:

Fully commit to my yoga practice–on and off the mat

Meditate at least once per day

Go to bed earlier

Watch less tv; read more books

Write more letters and keep in touch with friends in a more meaningful way

More fruit and veggies; less processed food
